Tivoli Hotels & Resorts has expanded its presence in Portugal with the opening of Tivoli Estela Golf & Lodges in Póvoa de Varzim, a beach town located 45 minutes north of Porto. The new property, set within an eight-hectare plot, offers 80 wooden lodges surrounded by lush landscaping, pine trees, and the scent of the sea.
This nature retreat is located next to the Estela Golf Club, with its links course, and a beach along the Atlantic Ocean, making it an attractive destination for nature lovers, sports enthusiasts, and families seeking leisure.
The 80 lodges offer a variety of configurations, including suites, family lodges, and standard rooms, all designed to blend nature with contemporary comfort. The interior design features natural materials like wood and earthy tones, creating a harmonious connection with the outdoors. All lodges are equipped with outdoor terraces for guests to enjoy the surroundings.
Tivoli Estela Golf & Lodges provides a range of dining options, including Green’s Restaurant, Dunas Bar, and the Pool Bar. These venues focus on Portuguese cuisine, with fresh regional produce and a relaxing atmosphere. Guests can enjoy everything from themed buffets to à la carte meals, as well as casual dining by the pool.
The resort also offers an extensive wellness center featuring a variety of Eastern-inspired therapies, including massages and treatments, alongside an indoor hydrotherapy pool, sauna, and gym. Outdoor leisure options include a heated pool, a children’s pool, paddle tennis courts, and bicycles for exploring the local area. For corporate needs, a 125sqm meeting room with natural light and a capacity of up to 60 people is available.

This property marks Tivoli’s ninth hotel in Portugal and further solidifies its expansion into new European markets.
