London – SUNDAY Hotel, the premium brand launched by SoftBank-backed OYO has announced plans to expand its presence in the United Kingdom. SUNDAY, which debuted in the UK with the iconic Lansbury Heritage Hotel near Canary Wharf in London in 2024, now aims to more than double its managed portfolio of 4 & 5-star hotels—from 20 to 50 hotels by the end of 2026.

These managed hotels currently operate in London, Cardiff, Bristol, Liverpool, Exeter, Dundee, etc. benefitting from higher occupancies, cost efficiencies and seamless day-to-day management since joining the programme.

Hotels managed by SUNDAY benefit from their expertise on revenue and cost management tools where it leverages its scale and size of its parent company, managing 3000+ keys in the UK and drives cost efficiencies. Post joining the management programme by SUNDAY most hotels see a 25-30% jump in revenue and 20-40% lower cost through efficiencies, economies of scale and implementation of technology.

The programme empowers hotel owners with reliable revenue streams and worry-free operations. With SUNDAY managing all daily activities—including guest bookings, housekeeping, and maintenance—hotel owners can focus on long-term asset value and portfolio growth instead of operational complexities.

The programme allows for management contracts ranging from 3 years up to 15 years, and importantly, offering flexible contract terms.

SUNDAY hotel, a premium brand of four-star and five-star hotels was first launched in India. The global expansion of Sunday Hotel was kickstarted in August 2024 with the launch of SUNDAY Holiday International Hotel in Dubai followed by SUNDAY Lansbury Heritage Hotel in the United Kingdom. It has since expanded in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam.

Recently, the company added six new SUNDAY hotels in the UK. These include Holland House in Cardiff, Walton Hall Hotel & Spa in Warwick, Boxhill Burford Bridge hotel in Dorking, Sunday London Staines in Staines, Exeter Rougemont Hotel in Exeter, and Winchester Wessex hotel in Winchester.
