Ennismore, the lifestyle hospitality group behind brands such as SO/, SLS, and Hyde, has announced the upcoming SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, set to open later this year on the UAE’s Al Marjan Island. The new property will mark SO/’s first all-inclusive resort outside Europe and Ennismore’s debut lifestyle hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, reinforcing the company’s growing presence in the luxury all-inclusive segment.
Positioned along Ras Al Khaimah’s coastline — a landscape of desert, mangroves, and mountains — the resort will offer 257 rooms and suites, all with uninterrupted sea views. The design draws inspiration from the surrounding nature, featuring a colour palette of sunset oranges, ocean teals, and soft stone shades. Materials such as light walnut wood and bronze detailing create an atmosphere of contemporary warmth.
Guests will have access to five curated dining experiences, including The Market, an all-day restaurant; Chiano for Mediterranean flavours; Levantine fine-dining venue Hadaba; Asian concept Floating World; and Savant, a 10th-floor cocktail bar with live entertainment. Two pool bars and an independent beach club complete the culinary line-up. For events, the resort will feature a function hall for up to 345 guests and several breakout spaces.
Wellness plays a central role, with a spa offering treatment rooms, sauna, and cold-water pool, alongside a 24-hour gym and access to nearby golf courses. The resort’s location at the entrance of Al Marjan Island places it within reach of new cultural, retail, and entertainment developments, including the island’s first casino.
The opening comes as Ras Al Khaimah experiences a tourism boom, recording 1.28 million overnight visitors in 2024, a 12% increase from the previous year. The emirate is targeting 3.5 million annual visitors by 2030, supported by major investments in luxury and lifestyle hospitality.
SO/ Ras Al Khaimah follows the success of all-inclusive resorts such as Rixos Bab Al Bahr and Rixos Al Mairid, which have positioned Ras Al Khaimah as a leading destination for upscale all-inclusive travel.
The new property also strengthens Ennismore’s ALL Inclusive Collection, which brings together brands like Rixos, SO/, Hyde, SLS, and Swissôtel under a shared philosophy of “all-inclusive, all-exclusive.” The group’s global pipeline now exceeds 60 resorts with more than 25,000 rooms in development, including upcoming openings in Mexico, Egypt, Dubai, and Vietnam.
