Le Petit Pali, the newest addition to Avi Brosh’s Palisociety portfolio, has expanded its signature national footprint with the opening of its fourth bed & breakfast hotel, Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach, a 41-room coastal inn perched in the heart of the creative and idyllic community of Laguna Beach in Southern California, steps from Treasure Island Beach and Goff Cove, two of the area’s most revered beachfront destinations.
Situated on Laguna Beach’s famed Coast Highway at the southern end of the town’s winding oceanside footprint, Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach is a two-story, mid-century era property newly reimagined with 41 king and suite guest rooms, each designed in classic Le Petit Pali style by Brosh and team. The hotel is layered in European-inspired charm with a balanced blend of British countryside and vintage California coastal inspiration, a signature of the Le Petit Pali moniker and uniquely styled to complement the relaxed yet refined sensibility synonymous with Laguna Beach.
The exterior, awash in Le Petit Pali’s signature deep, dark green and white color palette, is accented by rattan and brass fixtures and classic striped outdoor lounge furniture atop pale coral stone tile adorned with terracotta and blue and white Chinoiserie planters filled with native species including lavender, citrus trees and native palms.
Guests are greeted with a crisp glass of sparkling rosé and welcomed into an intimate lobby reminiscent of a private seaside home complete with ocean views, a flood of natural light and a gracious central bar serving everything from early morning breakfast to afternoon cocktails. A mix of custom and vintage furnishings within the space inspire lazy lounging while design details such as rattan lighting, grass cloth-adorned walls, deep red ceiling beams, potted greenery and decorative tile add interest and irreverent style.
Guest rooms, some with partial ocean views, are brought to life via richly layered textures and patterns, a weathered palette of muted blues and greys, wood flooring and accents, and a blend of custom, vintage and antique art and décor. Each room is equipped with Diptyque bath amenities, Bellino fine linens, plush robes and slippers, Marshall speakers, SMEG mini fridges, GRIND espresso machines and a generously curated mini bar featuring locally sourced items, a Palisociety brand signature.
Al fresco, Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach’s central pool area is nestled in the center of the property among soaring palm trees with an elevated ocean view lounge deck, preppy striped furniture and umbrellas for sun-soaked days and poolside bar service pouring house cocktails, a spritz menu with five varietals of the classic cocktail and more.
Guests will enjoy a daily complimentary champagne continental breakfast, a Le Petit Pali signature, featuring locally made fresh pastries from Rye Goods, chilled champagne and mimosas, preserves from Marmalade Grove, seasonal fruit, granola, yogurt, freshly brewed coffee, green juice and perfectly cooked 8-minute eggs. An all-day menu of small bites is served from 11:00am to 8:00pm featuring assorted bar snacks; an orange blossom honey and chive grilled cheese; a tinned fish platter served with lemon, saltines and whipped butter; and a fresh crudité with locally sourced honey gem lettuce, rainbow baby carrots, French radishes, hummus and olive tapenade. Two signature Beach Baskets are available for guest takeaway, the French Picnic and the Provencal Picnic, perfectly portable for days on the sand.
