citizenM has officially landed in Dublin – and it’s brought 245 stylish bedrooms, bold design, brilliant art and a whole lot of personality with it. Introducing citizenM Dublin St Patrick’s: the hotel brand’s first outpost in Ireland, now open and ready to welcome modern travellers, culture seekers and curious locals alike.
Sitting directly opposite St Patrick’s Cathedral in The Liberties neighbourhood – packed with local charm, history and culture – this new hotel is a love letter to smart travel, comfy beds, and creativity. The building itself is a Brutalist beauty by legendary Irish architect Sam Stephenson, lovingly preserved and given a fresh new life by citizenM’s creative team.
Inside, expect contemporary interiors, Vitra furniture, and a Living Room open to locals, laptop-luggers and curious wanderers alike. Guests can eat and drink around the clock at the 24/7 canteenM, chill on the open-air terrace, or spark ideas in one of four societyM meeting rooms, which are open to the public and perfect for creatives, start-ups and team sessions.
As ever with citizenM, art plays a starring role – this time in collaboration with the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA). Each guestroom features bespoke diptychs by one of five Irish artists, curated by IMMA’s Head of Programming, Mary Cremin. Think dreamy digital collages, cyanotype portraits and stitched-ribbon photography – all playful, all Irish, all exclusive to citizenM.
The public art doesn’t stop at the door either. On the hotel’s exterior, you’ll find a bronze-cast lyric by Dublin rapper Malaki, from his track Cuppa Tea, and on the back, a vivid new mural by Claire Prouvost, painted directly onto Stephenson’s preserved wall – a vibrant tribute to the city’s energy, culture and creativity.
The hotel puts guests in walking distance of cosy pubs, independent galleries, top restaurants and famous shopping streets – with Grafton Street, Temple Bar and the Creative Quarter just minutes away. And for those who want more, the mycitizenM+ membership unlocks even better stays – think guaranteed room discounts, late check-outs, priority rooms and free co-working, all year round.
citizenM Dublin St Patrick’s is officially open at 67-69 Bride Street, Dublin D08 C8CN. No lobby music. No check-in desk drama. Just everything you need, nothing you don’t, and the comfiest bed in the city.
